Privacy Policy

ReviewPebble helps local businesses ask their customers for Google reviews by email. This page explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. It covers two groups of people: business owners who use ReviewPebble, and their customers, who receive review request emails.

Information from business owners

• Your account email address and password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored in plain text.
• Your business name, business address, Google review link, sender name, and reply-to email address.

Information about customers

Business owners upload the customers they want to ask for a review. For each customer we store:

• Their email address and, if provided, their name.
• When a review request and reminder were sent, whether and when the review link was clicked, and whether the email bounced or was reported as spam.
• Whether they have unsubscribed.

We do not record customers' IP addresses when they click a review link, and we never see what anyone writes on Google. Our hosting provider may keep short-lived server logs, which can include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

How we use information

• To send review request emails and one reminder on a business owner's behalf.
• To record clicks, handle bounces, spam reports, and unsubscribes, and show results on the owner's dashboard.
• To run your account, including sign-up confirmation and sign-in.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer lists for our own marketing, and one business's customers are never shown to another business.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run ReviewPebble. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase: database and account sign-in.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Resend: email delivery.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep business owners signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

If you received an email through ReviewPebble

The business that emailed you chose to send you a review request, and we sent it on their behalf. Every email has an unsubscribe link: once you use it, you will not receive review requests from that business through ReviewPebble again. You can also contact the business directly or email us at hassanarshad626@gmail.com.

How long we keep information

We keep account and business details while the account is open. Customer records stay until the business owner deletes them or closes their account. To close your account and delete its data, email us and we will do it within 30 days.

Security

Connections to ReviewPebble are encrypted (HTTPS). Database access rules ensure each business can only see its own customers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

Children

ReviewPebble is a tool for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 16.
